The Quiet Heroes

The Quiet Heroes exhibition is located in Brno and Pardubice..
Experience chilling stories of courage through modern technologies!
In the interactive exhibition you will actively participate in the exploration of the memories of four people: Jaryna, Tomáš, Milena and Leopold.
Using a tablet, you will directly influence and shape their story and narrative - with the help of visual and sound effects, interactive screens or augmented reality.

World War II

The tour will introduce the story of Jaryna who as a chemistry student discovered a compound that was so powerful that she was able to save dozens of Jews from the transports. How can you poison someone and help them at the same time?
Tomáš will take the visitors on his extraordinary journey through the European Second World War battlefields and the hardships of life as a Second World War hero after the end of the war. Would you find the same courage in yourself as he had?

50s

Milena takes visitors to the Jáchymov mines, from where she cleverly smuggled letters and where she also fell fatally in love with one of the prisoners. Was love stronger than totalitarianism in the end?
With Leopold, visitors will get a glimpse not only among the partisans but also into the communist prison of the 1950s. Would you also be a resistance fighter?
